Digital Conference Systems for Government and Corporate Halls

The short answer

A digital conference system gives every seat a microphone unit, so a chair can run a formal meeting in which each speaker is heard clearly, recorded and, if needed, interpreted or voted on. Sound Krafted designs, supplies, installs and commissions these systems, including paperless meeting setups, for government offices, assemblies, universities and boardrooms across Pakistan.

Formal meetings depend on order: one person speaks, everyone hears, and the record is accurate. A conference system turns that into a routine. Our recent work includes Taiden conference systems at the Chief Minister’s Office, Punjab, and at the historic Darbar Hall of the Punjab Civil Secretariat.

What a conference system includes

ComponentWhat it does
Chairman unitMicrophone with priority: the chair can mute others and manage the floor
Delegate unitsMicrophone and speaker at each seat; request-to-speak button
Central control unitRuns the system, powers units and connects to the room's audio
Discussion management softwareSpeaker queue, agenda, seat names and logs
RecordingAudio record of the meeting for minutes and archives
VotingSecure yes / no / abstain voting with results on screen
InterpretationInterpreter booths or desks and channel selectors for each delegate
Paperless displaysSeat-level screens for agendas, documents and presentations
Camera trackingCameras that turn to the active speaker for recording or video conferencing

Not every room needs every part. A boardroom may need ten units and recording; an assembly hall may need hundreds of seats, voting and interpretation.

Wired, wireless or paperless?

  • Wired systems are reliable and secure, and suit fixed halls and chambers where cabling can be routed.
  • Wireless systems suit heritage rooms and multi-use halls where cables cannot be run, with attention to battery management and secure transmission.
  • Paperless systems add a screen at each seat, so documents, agendas and votes are on screen, not on paper.

We choose the type with you after the survey, based on the room, security and how often the layout changes.

The room matters too

Even the best microphones struggle in an echoing room. Where the room is hard and reverberant, we treat it at the same time; see conference room soundproofing. Large halls often need full auditorium sound alongside the conference system. The chair's position often pairs with a digital podium, and for large rooms we add an LED screen or video wall. For single conferences, site visits and delegations, see our wireless intercom and tour guide system rental.
