We separate two jobs that are often confused. Soundproofing stops sound passing between spaces, measured as STC or sound reduction. Acoustic treatment controls echo inside a room, measured as NRC and reverberation time (RT60). Most projects need both, and we design them together.

Acoustic walls and ceilings

Inside the room, we control echo with acoustic wall panels, fabric-wrapped panels, perforated or fluted timber, diffusers and acoustic ceiling tiles. The right amount and placement depend on the room’s size and use: a courtroom, studio and auditorium all need different targets. We calculate this before quoting, so you pay for what the room needs.

Survey and noise measurement

Our engineer visits, measures existing noise levels, identifies the noise paths and notes the construction of walls, ceilings, doors and ducts.

Design and specification

We set a target (for example, speech privacy between rooms or a studio noise level), then design the wall, ceiling, floor and door build-ups to reach it. You receive drawings and a BOQ.

Installation

Our team builds the system with attention to detail, because small gaps, back boxes and duct openings undo good soundproofing. We use materials suited to the job, such as mineral wool, gypsum board and acoustic seals.

Testing and handover

We measure again after installation to confirm the result and hand over drawings and a summary.

Will acoustic foam soundproof my room?

No. Foam and panels reduce echo inside a room but do little to stop sound passing through walls. Soundproofing needs mass, airtight construction and isolation.

Can you soundproof an existing room without rebuilding it?

Often yes. We can add an isolated wall or ceiling layer, upgrade doors and seal gaps. The survey tells us how much improvement is possible in the space available.
