A digital podium connects the speaker to the hall’s systems. A typical specification includes:

• A gooseneck or slim condenser microphone wired to the hall’s mixer.
• A touch screen showing the presentation, with control of slides.
• Inputs for laptops (HDMI or USB-C) and a built-in PC where required.
• A reading light, clock or timer for the speaker.
• Control of hall lights, screen and projector through a touch panel, if the hall has room control.
• Cable management so nothing is visible from the audience or camera.
