Creative-arts teaching needs two very different kinds of room. A design lab needs reliable workstations, displays and presentation equipment for many students at once. A music studio needs a quiet, controlled room where recordings are clean and what students hear on the monitors is accurate. BNU wanted both delivered to a professional standard, with one team responsible for the rooms and the equipment.
Arts and media students learn best on the kind of rooms and equipment they will use in their careers. Delivering the lab and the studio together kept the standard consistent across both and gave the university a single point of contact.
