A well-built soundproof wall is only as good as its weakest point, and that is usually the door. Floors matter too: they decide how a hall sounds, how footsteps carry and how the room looks. Sound Krafted supplies and installs soundproof doors, acoustic windows, carpet tiles, broadloom carpet and wooden flooring for studios, auditoriums, conference rooms, offices and government buildings across Pakistan.
We are a Lahore-based system integrator and acoustics contractor, so doors and floors are specified as part of the room’s acoustic design, not chosen from a catalogue in isolation.
Soundproof doors
- Acoustic single and double doors with solid, dense cores and acoustic seals around the frame.
- Automatic drop seals at the bottom that close the gap when the door shuts.
- Sound lock lobbies: two doors in series for studios and control rooms that need very high isolation.
- Vision panels with acoustic glazing for safety and visibility.
- Fire-rated acoustic doors where building rules require them.
- Finishes in veneer, laminate, paint or fabric to match the interior, with panic bars and closers for public halls.
Acoustic windows
Double or laminated acoustic glazing in sealed frames for studios, control rooms, observation windows and rooms facing busy roads.
Carpet and wooden flooring
- Carpet tiles for offices, conference rooms and control rooms: hard-wearing, easy to replace tile by tile, and good at reducing footfall noise.
- Auditorium and cinema carpet in heavy-duty grades for aisles and steps, with nosing and step lights.
- Broadloom and woollen carpet for VIP rooms, darbar halls and ceremonial spaces.
- Wooden and laminate flooring for stages, studios, executive offices and lobbies.
- Floating floors and acoustic underlays that cut impact and vibration noise to rooms below.
Why doors and floors matter acoustically
- A standard hollow door with gaps can let through far more sound than the wall around it. Upgrading the door is often the cheapest big improvement in a meeting room.
- Hard floors reflect sound and make rooms echo. Carpet absorbs high frequencies and footfall, which helps speech clarity in halls and offices.
- On stages and in studios, wooden floors on resilient underlays give a natural sound and stop vibration travelling.
We balance these effects in the acoustic design so the room sounds right when finished.

Frequently asked questions
How much difference does a soundproof door make?
In many rooms the door is the weakest point. Replacing a hollow or gapped door with a sealed acoustic door is often the biggest single improvement in sound privacy.
Can you replace the door without rebuilding the wall?
Usually yes. We can fit a new acoustic frame and door in the existing opening, and seal around it. We check the wall during the survey.
Are carpet tiles suitable for control rooms and offices?
Yes. Carpet tiles reduce footfall noise, are hard-wearing and can be replaced tile by tile. Anti-static options are available for technical rooms.
Do you supply auditorium carpet with step lights?
Yes. We supply heavy-duty auditorium carpet for aisles and steps, with nosing and step lighting as part of hall renovation.
Do you install wooden flooring on stages?
Yes. We install wooden stage and studio floors on resilient underlays for a natural sound and reduced vibration.
